I have enjoyed this lens especially for astrophotography. The main issue I had was I could not focus with this lens installed unless it was put in the right order. I found I had to place it as close to the camera as possible which meant I had to rearrange how my camera and assembly was arranged.
Description of Celestron f/6.3 Reducer Corrector for C Series Telescopes
This nifty optical element shortens the effective focal length of Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes by 37%, converting the standard f/10 optical system to a faster f/6.3 system (f/7 for the Celestron 14" SCT). The result is a wider field of view, to better frame deep-sky objects that may not fit within the narrower field of view at f/10. The shorter focal length also reduces exposure times for astrophotography and CCD imaging by 2.5 times! This device also corrects for field curvature and other aberrations inherent in the telescope's optical system. Stars appear pinpoint sharp from one edge of the field to the other. The F/6.3 Reducer/Corrector features a four-element, fully multi-coated optical design with a 41mm clear aperture. It's compatible with any brand and size of Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and with all visual and photographic accessories. Threads onto rear cell.Eyepieces
