The Celestron CGE computerized equatorial mount is one of the most impressively engineered amateur telescope mounts we've ever come across. In addition to being fully computerized with a database of over 40,000 celestial objects, the CGE mount offers the extreme stability and advanced features needed for serious observational and astrophotographic applications. Made from CNC-machined aluminum and stainless steel components, this rock-solid mount has a payload capacity of 65 lbs. Two made-in-USA 12-volt DC servo drive motors drive the RA and Dec axes, and the dual encoders pinpoint objects to 1.5 arc-minute accuracy. Features such as permanent programmable periodic error correction (PEC), auto north and level, filter limits, autoguider port, and many others make the CGE a truly impressive mount that will meet all your needs.
